Hong Kong, China Adds Four More Silvers in Para Dance Sport – Total 5 Silvers, 2 Bronzes

The Hong Kong, China delegation achieved further success at the 2026 World Abilitysport Youth Games in Para dance sport. On June 19, the team captured four silver medals. WONG Wo Chau and YU Chun Ting Matthew won silver in the Men’s Single Class 1and Men’s Single Class 2 respectively. Meanwhile, the pairs SO Tze Yan Susanna/LEE Pui Yin and WONG Wo Chau/LUI Yee Ting added silvers in the Combi Standard Class 2 and Combi Latin Class 1. With these results, Hong Kong concluded Para dance sport competition with a total of 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.

 

In Para fencing, LEE Sheung-ho competed in the Men’s Épée Individual Category A (U23). He recorded 2 wins and 4 losses in the group stage, advancing to the table of 32. However, he was defeated in the elimination round and finished 22nd overall. The 2026 U23  Para Fencing World Championships have now concluded, with the Para Fencing Satellite Tournament set to begin today.

 

In Para badminton, WAI Ian partnered with Zi-An Huang of Chinese Taipei in the Men’s SH6 Doubles (U21) round-robin opener. They lost 0–2 to the pairing of Pranesh Balasubramaniam (USA) and Goncalo Batista (Portugal).
