The 2026 World Abilitysport Youth Games entered its third day, with athletes once again stepping onto the stage in pursuit of outstanding results. Hong Kong’s Para dance sport team, which captured one silver and two bronze medals yesterday, will see multiple pairs return to competition today with hopes of adding to the medal tally.
Yesterday’s silver medalists YU Chun Yin Matthew / Choi Tsz Yan will compete in the Combi Latin Class 2 , with YU also contesting the Men’s Single Class 2. Fung Sui Chun / Tse Chun Yin will join them in the Combi Latin Class 2, while yesterday’s bronze medalists WONG Wo Chau / LUI Tyee Ting will take part in the Combi LatinClass 1, with WONG also entering the Men’s Single Class 1 Single. Making their debut, SO Tsz-Yan / Lee Pui Yin will compete in the Combi Standard Class 2.
In Para fencing, the U23 Para Fencing World Championships reach their final day, where Hong Kong, China’s LEE Sheung Ho will fight in the Men’s Épée Individual Category A, aiming for a breakthrough performance.
Meanwhile, in Para badminton, WAI Ian will partner with Chinese Taipei’s Zi-An Huang in the opening round-robin match of the Men’s Doubles SH6 (U21).
